Disappointed But Still Trusting

Job 1:21b says, "The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised.”

I heard back from Pelican Book Group. The Editor who was reviewing my manuscript was very through and kind as kind can be. However, the bottom line remains the same; they are not offering a contract for the Young Adult story I queried.

The Life of a writer is like a roller coaster ride. At times it's exciting and thrilling, at times scary, and at other times you wonder why you willingly placed yourself on these tracks.

Today is a tough one, but as Job said; indeed the Lord does give and take away. Blessed be His name. I will choose to trust in his purposes.
